This special fundraising event will bring together golfers, businesses, and supporters from across Ireland for a memorable day of sport, community spirit, and generosity, with all proceeds supporting Hugh’s House, the Dublin-based charity that provides free accommodation for families whose children are seriously ill and receiving treatment in Dublin hospitals, including CHI Temple Street, the Rotunda, the Coombe, and the National Maternity Hospital, Holles Street.

For many families, having a child in hospital means long journeys, financial pressure, and emotional exhaustion. Hugh’s House offers a warm, safe, and supportive “home away from home”, allowing parents and family members to remain close to their child during some of the most challenging times of their lives.

The Sensori & Hugh’s House Golf Classic will take place at Rathfarnham Golf Club on Friday, 21st August 2026. The event will be played in a four-ball format, with shotgun starts at 9:00am and 1:00pm. The cost of entry is €500 per team, and businesses or individuals can also support the event through hole sponsorship for €250.

 

Hugh’s House and Sensori encouraged companies, golf societies, and individuals to get involved by entering a team, sponsoring a hole, or supporting the event in any way they could.

Events like this are about more than golf, they are about keeping families close to their seriously ill children and reminding them that they are not facing these difficult days alone.”
